POWER MIND!
STUDY SKILLS WITH MIND CHARTS AND POWER MEMORY
Power Mind unleashes the power of the mind of the student with whole brain learning using both right and left brains.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the workshop is for participants to cultivate creativity, learn and apply various memory techniques and note-making techniques using Mind Charts.
By the end of the program, participants should be able to achieve the following:
- Learn Power Memory Methods
- Able to memorise more than 30 items
- Learn Mind Charts for making notes
- Create a simple Mind Chart
- Apply Power Memory Methods and Mind Charts on school notes
METHODOLOGY
This highly interactive and participatory workshop will subject participants to various activities, exercises and games to not only inject interest and encourage instant application of techniques, but also to challenge the cognitive and behavioural aspects of each individual. Practice, observation and feedback are an essential part of the program to help participants grasp concepts faster. Apart from Solution Focused Based Coaching techniques, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), as well as principles from DISC Behavioural Tools will also be used in the program.

LIFE SKILLS AND MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAM
Power Up! is an experiential workshop specially engineered to help the youths of today discover more about themselves through a journey of self reflection and exploration, to achieve sustained self-motivation and independence. This highly interactive workshop will help to open the minds of your children and get them started in achieving the dreams they have and motivate them to reach there.

This workshop focuses on the following four core values:

The objectives of Power UP! are to help participants achieve the following through the interactive activity-filled workshop:

METHODOLOGY
The program will be done in a seminar style but filled with experiential learning activities that will help participants to learn and apply the content straight away. Methodologies such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Solution Focused are applied.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The program is suitable for youths ages from 9 to 18.
A more in depth program has been modified for tertiary students and adults.

WHAT’S SPECIAL
This program will include a segment whereby participants will play a financial board game to help them integrate what has been applied and also to learn strategies of wealth creation. This board game is “Wongamania” (www.wongamania.com) . It was created by Mr. Xeo Lye, a good friend and very successful entrepreneur and financial advisor who has also launched the game via Kickstarter and other crowdfunding methods.

4 ELEMENTS BEHAVIOURAL PROFILING
DISC® is the original, most used and most validated, personal behavioural assessment tool used by more than 50 million people all over the world to improve their lives, interpersonal relationships, work productivity, teamwork, and communication. Based on the work of renowned psychologist William Moulton Marston since 1928, the DISC Profile System applies 4 simple easy to understand models of normal behaviour in an assessment, inventory and survey format. Thus this makes it highly applicable.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the program, students will be able to achieve the following:

- Be able to identify their personality and behaviours

BEING SOLUTION FOCUSED 101
HEART AND SOUL OF THE SOLUTION FOCUSED APPROACH
The Solution Focused Approach is a positive solution building model developed by therapists from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA in the early 1980s and has been in use for more than 30 years in the areas of therapy, counselling and coaching (business and life).
The model encourages the development of effective behavioural management, to adopt a positive stance in which energy is directed towards finding satisfactory ways forward rather than focusing on what is going wrong in a given situation.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the workshop is for participants to grasp the basic techniques and methodology of applying the solution-focused approach.
By the end of the program,participants should be able to achieve the following:
- Understand the background of a solution-focused approach
- An ability to engage and maintain good relationships with clients
