SPORTS SUSTAINABILITY

TriFactor’s Sustainability journey takes inspiration from the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - 17 global targets designed to promote peace and prosperity for people and the planet.

TRIFACTOR'S SUSTAINABILITY

While all goals are important, we recognize the need for focus to make an impact as an organization. With our attention on community engagement through events, our focus is on SDG #3: Good Health and Wellbeing, #5: Gender Equality, and #12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

  • GOOD HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Healthy lives and wellbeing are crucial for building prosperous and sustainable societies. TriFactor's holistic sporting practice offers an ideal combination to enhance health and wellbeing, with inspiring examples of successful action. We believe physical education fosters family bonding, builds resilience and confidence, and rekindles the love for nature in modern society.

  • GENDER EQUALITY

TriFactor acknowledges the importance of gender equality and strives to maintain fairness and parity between men and women. With a firm commitment to the principle of gender equality, TriFactor views sports as a unique activity that promotes equal opportunities for all individuals to challenge themselves, overcome obstacles, and unleash their full potential. This, in turn, leads to a greater sense of achievement and personal satisfaction, irrespective of one's gender.

  • RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

Sharing in the ownership of responsible stewardship, TriFactor recognises that as a sporting events organiser, It is our duty to lead by example and by invitation, to minimise likely negative impacts and use our potential to reach the masses to bring about positive change to our communities. TriFactor endevours to follow and learn from World Triathlon’s Sustainability Guidelines For Event Organisers.  They seek to reduce the impact triathlon events have on the planet and set out a range of best practices and approaches to our events.
