Intermittent Hypoxic Training (IHT)
Intermittent Hypoxic Training is a method that is aimed at imitating training in high altitudes. IHT reduces the amount of oxygen in the air you breathe (similar to high altitude conditions). This over time will increase your red blood cell count and oxygen carrying capacity, which will increases efficiency at your current level of fitness. This means the ability to train for longer periods of time, getting less winded, and faster recovery from high intensity workouts.
