Started by Yizhong Aw and Jacob Low in 2018, the club’s vision and mission is to bring together like-minded athletes across the different abilities and to grow the sport nationally through best practices, legislation and leadership.

One of our immediate focus is to establish safe and professional training protocols for our members. We see ourselves leading the way with Triathlon Association of Singapore and with the relevant stakeholders to improve a number of training related lapses within our industry.

Our goal for the next 2 years is to establish ourselves as the flagship triathlon club in Asia by providing both developmental and age-group athletes a platform to train, network and challenge themselves on a global scale. Through the leadership of our founding members and pro-term committee, we have plans to integrate our existing international sport technical knowledge and business acumen to take this club towards the intended direction.

Tri-Kids was originally founded in 2011 by Master Coach Fish Tang of Fishlike International. This group was restarted in 2021 with aim to nurture and cultivate kids to enjoy training and competing in triathlons. Tri-kids club provide the foundational training to build technical skills for open water swimming, road cycling and running.

Today, the kids participate in aquathlons, duathlons and triathlons in Singapore and around the region. TRI-Factor plays an important part to provide events for our tri-kids and their parents to participate, gain race experience and most important of all, meet new friends that share a common interest in their passion of swim, bike and run.

Singapore Runners Club is an independent non-affiliatiion running community on Facebook. The objective is to gather all Singapore-based runners for a weekly social run, for beginners, intermediate, and semi-elite.

Started in 2019, the club was temporarily halted because of Covid-19 and started to be active again in the late 2021.

With TriFactor, SRC will provide members the required platform for multisport environment like Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquathlon.

Temasek Polytechnic Triathlon was formed as a CCA platform for Triathlon/Biathlon/Aquathlon student enthusiasts within the school to learn more about the sport.

Providing opportunities to participate in various race events such as the Singapore International Triathlon, SMU Aquathlon and NUS Biathlon, the club strives to push its members to their limits, following the club’s original motto: “They say its individual, We say it’s a Team”.

TriXerO started in 2017 as a group of friends who have the same interest in triathlon. It was initially formed as TeamO, managing triathlon trainings after work before it was officially launched as TriXerO in November 2018, to focus more on triathlon trainings and its disciplines together with our other affiliated cycling club – WAB SG and to bring triathlon enthusiasts (from beginners to seasoned triathletes) together.

The team is open to all multisport athletes from all levels of ability in pursuing their athletic goals. You don’t have to be the fastest triathlete to be the best, being the best is just about wanting to be better.

Our Team Vision is to have a “family like” community and continuously improving triathletes – from beginners to experienced triathletes. We aim to inspire each other so that we can all be stronger, better, together.

We started as a small but we are growing and developing younger talents. We start a 100-day training program to our uncles 30 yeR old for the national team time trial. We race ironman events very frequently as well.

Newbie Triathletes SG was formed in 2014 with the aim of creating a local triathlon community.

The main purpose of the community is to encourage newbies to take on the sport as well as get tips and training advise from more experience triathletes. This group is run by a number of administrators who are passionate about the sport. Given their support, we see more people daring to give triathlon a try as it is not so intimidating after all.

Sino-Singapore Triathlon Club (SSTC) was established in 2015. Liuyang was the founder at that time. We were a group of friends who love sports and sunshine. Soon we found our common interests in the three disciplines, running, cycling and swimming. Every year we spend trips together to travel for races, such as Ironman, Oceanman, and other sports activites.

Being the largest local sport organizer, TriFactor is a very popular brand among us. It provides a great opportunity for us to train together, gather together and share the joy together. We hope to continue to participate in the races and be part of the healthy lifestyle pioneers.

Singapore Women’s Triathlon Club (SWTC) is the only club in Singapore for women interested in Triathlon and endurance sports. SWTC provides a supportive and social environment for women athletes regardless of experience level. We pride ourselves as a community driven space for women to meet as like-minded friends, talk about triathlon and find training partners. The club is a diverse mix of global and local women with varied experience, ability, plus professional and family commitments! We have over 300 members and welcome any woman who loves or wants to learn more about triathlon.

From its beginnings in 2018 as conversations between women living in Singapore on the global Women For Tri (WFT) Facebook page, SWTC was officially formed in 2019 with a successful Triathlon Club Grant application from WFT. Women For Tri is a program of the Ironman Foundation and seeks to increase participation of women in Triathlon. SWTC has 300+ members and provides a platform for women in Singapore to come together to learn, share and train together. SWTC believes in providing equal opportunity for all women to participate in triathlon in a safe training zone.

SMU Aquathlon was set up in 2007 as one of the sports clubs under the SMU Sports Union (SSU) to promote the multisport community. Our notable alumni members include Ashley Liew and Aaron Lee, who have competed at the national level in the sport.  

With over 50 members in the club currently and a strong alumni network, we are a big family of former and present student athletes who are passionate in multisport events – training and pushing our limits consistently while having fun from the sport.  

Following the ease of the COVID-19 restrictions, we hope for more of such competitions to psych members up for trainings. TRI-Factor is definitely an invaluable partner in providing the platforms and support for these events to take place.

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Aquathlon was started by a group of like minded individuals in 2010 who wanted to spread their love for multisport to fellow students and form an interest group.

Over the years, NTU Aquathlon has grown to be a competitive club racing in the annual Singapore University Games (SUniG) and various other local and international multisport races.

Terai Melayu SG was started in 2008. Founded by 4 Malay athletes who were passionate about multisport activities like triathlon, duathlon, open water swims, cycling races, runs of different distances from 5Ks to the ultras.

As of today, we have 643 members in our Facebook page and we have members actively participating in races in various parts of the world. We consistently hold group training sessions to help our members achieve their sporting dreams.

TRICATORS was formed in 2016, after a bunch of us fun-loving folks traveled together to stand at the start line of Ironman Taiwan 2015. From strangers to friends, we bonded on the basis of the love for triathlons, keeping an active lifestyle and most importantly, food & drinks!

We are people who enjoy racing, while also traveling and having a vacation as well. We take the opportunity to combine our races and vacations as one. So, “Tricators” is kind of a spin-off from a made-up term “Tri-cation” (Triathlon + Vacation).

We like to see ourselves as a family, motivating one another to become a better version of themselves, be it in life or sporting pursuits. We are one another’s encouragement and inspiration. Still, we love to unwind and relax at the end of the day, living by our motto “Swim Bike Run Chill”. The sport just gives us an excuse to have our burgers and beers. 🙂 We love the sport, but we also make sure we have fun and have a good time!

We hope to have more like-minded individuals to join us in our rides, runs and races! We don’t bite! The past couple of years have been a blast and it would be great to have more joining in our adventures as we swim, bike, run and chill together! *Positive vibes only*
